The Logistics Analyst III supports all aspects of the day-to-day Okinawa 3PL operation, and enhances product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics activities that affect production, distribution, and inventory in support of the Marine Corps Base Okinawa activities and customers. Support will be required managing both the physical and electronic tracking of HAZMAT from cradle to grave, while utilizing multiple systems to induct, track and disposition material both delivered to and received from end customers. Performs a variety of activities following established procedures for HAZMAT distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost. Familiar with a variety of HAZMAT concepts, practices, and procedures is desired.
Position will report to the Serco Site Manager for the contract. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Will be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years.
Demonstrated knowledge of Navy and Marine Corps Hazardous Material Control and Management (HMC&M) processes/procedures, warehousing, handling, and safety procedures, along with HM management software programs such as HMIRS and FedLog for inventory research is desired. Previous experience supporting the management and tracking of HAZMAT, to include both physical and electronic means is desired. Work is generally performed in a mixed warehouse/office environment with varying working conditions. Job assignment will require working at overseas client site, with minimal travel off island being required.
Technical training/experience in Navy Supply procedures and IT systems used in HM management processes including some or all of the following:
• HM Inventory Management
• Stock identification and inventory processes
• IT systems for HM: HMMS, HMIRS and FedLog
• HM Minimization Center Operations Previous HAZMAT management experience is desired.

Department Our services in the Defense business unit support all branches of the U.S. military and the intelligence community. Our teams provide a variety of support services related to the maintenance and life cycle sustainment of US Navy, US Coast Guard and Customs and Border Patrol fielded C5I systems.
